Platform Engineer
The Platform Engineer will be in charge of implementing APIs, integrating SDKs and developing other server-side features that will be used by Altitude’s games. You will be working closely with the Technical Director as well as the other members of the team.
Qualifications:
– A team player
– Minimum of 3 years’ work experience developing server-side code for web / mobile applications
– Experience with Python
– Experience with version control systems
– Experience with AWS
– Has a live web application under his/her portfolio
– Can work remotely with minimal supervision
Plus Points:
– Has worked on server-side code for a mobile / web game
– Experience with DevOps on AWS
– Knowledge of Unity 3D
– Knowledge of Javascript for front-end development

Game Designer
The Game Designer will be mainly responsible for creating the level design, objectives, customization, multiplayer, and other mechanics of our games. You will work closely with our Creative Director in updating existing content as well as creating new features. This is not a paper design job — you will be prototyping, scripting, and testing your own work in Unity.
Qualifications:
– At least two (2) years of experience as a game designer in the industry
– Deep understanding of mobile games and free-to-play
– Experience in game scripting (indicate engine and/or language)
– Experience working with Unity a HUGE plus
– Can work remotely with minimal supervision
– Excellent English writing skills a bonus but not required (please send a copy of published work if you have any)

2d Artist
The 2D artist will be mainly responsible for 2D illustration and/or animation, and Unity integration of our game’s graphics. The 2D Artist will be working closely with the Art Team in creating in-game art assets.
Qualifications:
– Experienced 2D artist in a game development environment
– Kicks ass in Adobe Photoshop
– Knowledgeable in Unity’s art-related features
– Unity animation skills are a BIG plus
– Can work remotely with minimal supervision

Junior Data Analyst
Altitude Games is looking for a Junior Data Analyst! Build great free-to-play games for iOS and Android with an experienced team.
Responsibilities:
– Work with a small, focused team to help design and build successful free-to-play games on iOS and Android
– Translate tracking requirements or design questions into custom game events and metrics and validate their implementation
– Create spreadsheets and data visualizations to effectively communicate game status and performance
– Collaborate with other team members to bring our games to life
Qualifications:
– A background in statistics, mathematics, or any science
– Strong logical thinking and problem solving skills
– A keen eye for detail
– An affinity for spreadsheets and data visualizations
– Understanding of and interest in successful free-to-play game design and development
– Fresh graduates are welcome!
Plus Points:
– In-depth experience with mobile game development on iOS or Android
– Production experience with Unity
– Proficiency with SQL, data mining, custom visualization tools or third-party analytics packages
– Familiarity with the standard game industry metrics for measuring engagement and conversion/monetization
Game Engineer
The Game Engineer will be working closely with the Technical Director and Engineering Director. They will be collaborating with game designers and artists to create new games for Altitude
– Work with a small, focused team to help design and build successful free-to-play games on iOS and Android.
– Be a generalist with additional depth in one or more areas such as graphics, audio, scalable servers, networking or AI.
– Implement both client and server side game features.
– Write and maintain quality, readable code.
Qualifications:
– 2+ years experience in C#, ObjC, C++ or Python
– Deep knowledge of data structures, algorithms and design patterns and how to apply them to the problem at hand.
– Understanding of and interest in successful free-to-play game design and development
– Experience with secure, scalable RESTful API design and development for mobile games
– Can work remotely with minimal supervision
Plus Points:
– In-depth experience with mobile game development on iOS or Android
– Production experience with Unity
– Experience with database design and scaling.
– Production experience running servers at scale using Java, Python or Ruby in AWS
